Casio AB-500 Data Bank Watch Battery Change  (Module 386) Hello fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the World, I hope you are all well. In this post I will be changing the battery in the Casio AB-500 Tele Memo/Data bank watch.  The battery in this watch has not been changed since January 2024 so it is due a new battery. The battery I will be using is a    type 371 silver oxide battery. I am using a silver oxide battery as they are less likely to leak when the battery nears it's end of life. I have been changing all the batteries in my watches to silver oxide as I had previously been using the cheaper alkaline batteries which have a tendancy to leak near the end of their life and that is something I would like to avoid. Leaking batteries can destroy watches and stop them from working. The battery cost me £4.95 which is quite expensive for a watch battery, but it has a less likely chance to leak and I'd rather go with this option. As you can see, the display is faint ...

 Casio MQA-100G Battery Change    (Module 333) Hello fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the World, I hope you are all well. In this post I am going to change the battery in my MQA-100G. The watch had been running well (for over 3 years), until I noticed that the second hand had stopped running and the LCD section had become very faint leading me into a panic to change the battery. I had presumed (wrongly as it happened) that I had a spare battery but I couldn't remember which type it took so I checked an old post to see if I had mentioned it there, but I never mentioned it nor took a picture of the new battery. Casio AB-200 Data Bank Watch Battery Change   (Module 321)  Hello Casio lovers from around the world, I hope you are well. As the title suggests, I will yet again be replacing the battery in the AB-200. To be fair, for an old watch it doesn't eat through batteries. It has actually been three years since I last changed the battery in this watch so I'm quiet happy with it's battery usage. To be honest though I did use a decent battery (Duracell) in the watch the last time I changed it, so I thought I would use the same battery again.  The watch uses a LR1130 type cell, so I bought the Duracell brand and it cost £3.90.  Casio AQ-321 Ana Digi Watch (Module 309) 18/10/2023 Hello fellow Casio Watch enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. In this post, I will be showing you my old, battered, bent and scratched Casio AQ-321. The watch also suffers (as many of these watches do) with an inaccuracy of the mechanical hands. The problem is, the mechanical hands run about 2 seconds a day slower than the LCD part. It may not seem a lot, but over time (yes obviously) the gap increases constantly. However, that doe's not bother me as I love this little watch. I say little as it is quite a small piece even on my small wrist.
