Casio MQA-100G (Module 333) Re-case 18/3/2023 Hello Casio watch enthusiasts from around the world, I hope you are all well! Back in February, I wrote a post about a rare watch I had bought second hand from an auction site. The watch is an MQA-100G and in the add it said the watch only needed a new battery. I placed a bid of £10 and luckily won the watch. The next images are from the actual advert.   and and and The watch looked very grubby, yet I could see no actual scratches on the glass, case or strap and I thought I would take a little gamble. As I said, I won the watch for £10 (plus £3.65 delivery) and I ordered a battery immediately. A couple of days later, the watch arrived and also the new battery I had ordered. Happy days I thought. So, as soon as I had time, I removed the strap and removed the case back.  I then removed the old battery and all my hopes dreams of a rare and cheap Casio were shattered. The old battery must have been in there a long time and it had leaked so badl

Casio Watch F-91W Battery Change (Module 593)

Casio Watch F-91W Battery Change  (Module 593)  Hello fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. As the title suggests, I will be replacing the battery on my son's F-91W. He has had the watch from new and it is coming up to 6 years old. It's in excellent condition considering he has owned it since he was only 8 years old and worn it everyday since for school. The display is starting to fade, so it's high time I replaced the battery with a brand new one. The watch uses one CR2016 button cell, which cost me £3.50 (including delivery) for two cells and they are Duracell so a decent battery. I bought two as it's always handy to have new cells in hand if ever   required. Now that batteries have been delivered, it's time to get started. I know I should have removed the strap but it simply wouldn't budge from it's position and I didn't want to damage the watch as it is only plastic. I therefore left the strap attached to the watch

Casio G-Shock GWM-5600-1AER Battery/Capacitor Change (Module 3063)

Casio G-Shock GWM-5600-1AER Battery/Capacitor Change (Module 3063) 19/4/2023 Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. As the title suggests, I will be replacing the battery on my almost 15 year old Casio G-Shock GWM-5600. I have owned the watch from new and it was a present from my wife for my 40th Birthday. I believe this watch was replaced with the 6 Band GWM-5610 some time ago making this watch model somewhat collectable, as are many other Casio models. Although the watch has no real value, it has a lot of sentimental value to myself and I have loved this watch from day one. However, over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the battery level indicator was on the medium level for the first time in almost 15 years. After that I put the watch in front of my DIY infra red and ultra violet light for a couple of hours with no change. I then put it in direct sunlight for a full afternoon, but again no change to the battery indicator. I

Casio Watches I Would Love to Own (Updated 2023)

Casio Watches I Would Love to Own Hello Casio owners and lovers from around the world. I hope you are all well. 12/4/2023 As the title suggest, this is a list of Casio watches I would love to add to my humble collection. Some are vintage watches, whilst some of them may be recent. There may also be future Casio watches that I may want, so the list will grow to include these watches.  Due to the ages of some of the watches, there is little information considering the functions of the watches to gather and report. I am also unsure of the year each watch was released and the cost of the said watch at that time. I do have some information about the watches, however this could prove to be inaccurate. If you have further knowledge of each watch, please leave the information in the comments section at the bottom and I will update the post asap. Let me begin, in no particular order. The first on the list is the beautiful and rare Casio AB-200. It is an analogue and digital watch. It also has a
