Casio AQ-321 Ana Digi Watch (Module 309) 18/10/2023 Hello fellow Casio Watch enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. In this post, I will be showing you my old, battered, bent and scratched Casio AQ-321. The watch also suffers (as many of these watches do) with an inaccuracy of the mechanical hands. The problem is, the mechanical hands run about 2 seconds a day slower than the LCD part. It may not seem a lot, but over time (yes obviously) the gap increases constantly. However, that doe's not bother me as I love this little watch. I say little as it is quite a small piece even on my small wrist. I would say about the size of a Casio F-91W only a lot thicker and heavier.  Ana-Digi (analogue & digital display) watches and their history. I have been a lover of the Ana-Digi watches since their release in the 1980's, especially the Casio versions. All the major watch manufacturers had an Ana-Digi watch in their collections such as Seiko, Limit International,

Casio AB-200 Data Bank Watch Battery Change  (Module 321) 9/10/2023  Hello Fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the world.  In this post I am going to be changing the battery in my Casio AB-200 watch. If you have read my previous post on the AB-200, you will realise I had been looking for a good example of this watch for some years. I bought the watch in June 2022 but have no history of the watch, like when the last time the battery was changed. To be honest, I should have changed the battery when I first got the watch as a battery leak can be fatal for any watch. I have never worn the watch as I have a fear of damaging it or losing it as it cannot be replaced easily. The watch is kept in a case and the case is stored in a drawer and I check it quite regularly. Today was the day I checked my watch and I was horrified to find the mechanical hands had stopped working and the LCD display was quite dim and not as clear as usual. In panic, I quickly grabbed my tools and set about removing t

Casio AQ-450G Ana-Digi Watch (Module 315)  11/5/2023 Updated 10/102023  Hello Casio watch enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. I have, just won this vintage AQ-450G from auction and is here. It looks awesome and feels substantial on the wrist. The battery is almost flat and the mechanical hands stopped working. I hope this is simply a battery fault.  As I stated, the watch looks in excellent condition for a watch of more than 25 years old. The case, strap, display's and glass have minimal marks of which I am very happy about.   I love the way the strap sweeps up right to the surface face of the watch and the square design buttons that need a good clean.  My only worry is the mechanical workings of the watch and with that in mind, I need to replace the battery as a matter of urgency. As usual, I will remove the strap to expose the watch back clip.  With the strap removed, I quickly removed the back of the watch so I could remove the battery, identify it and o

Casio LF-20W-8A2DF Retro Digital Watch (Module 3551)  5/10/2023 Hello Casio enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. As the title suggests, this post will be about the new Casio LF-20W. I say the watch is new but it was released in June or July of this year and since it's release, has been out of stock with all UK suppliers. However, these watches have ended up for sale on EBay and other sites for twice the amount of the RRP (recommended retailers price). The RRP in the UK is £29.95, yet profiteers are asking £60.00 plus delivery of the watch, which I was not willing to pay. The watch was available at the correct price from the USA but, import duty and delivery were another £45.00 and I am not willing to pay that either. So after a lot of searching and waiting, I finally found an example of the watch at the correct price and I have ordered it. The watch cost me £30 plus £2.95 for delivery and I am very excited. I originally wanted the black version, but the only
