Casio AB-200 Databank Watch (Module 321) 18/6/22 Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts, collectors and welcome to my post. As the title suggests, this post will be about the Casio AB-200 Data Bank watch. You may be aware (if you have read my previous posts), I have been looking for a good example for a long time now but finally, I have one on it's way to me. The actual watch is the one in the picture below and are the pictures I based my decision on to buy it. They are not the best pictures in the world and to be fair, the watch is not the best example of an AB-200 but it's the best I can afford at this moment. It is finished in silver with as best as I can see, has a white dial. I do believe the AB-200 silver came with either a white dial or a black dial. Whereas the AB-200G (gold) could come with a white, black or gold dial. To be honest I like the silver watch, both with either the white or black dial. I am just pleased to at last secured one! Another cool feature of this wat...
Casio Ana-Digi AQ-340 Battery Change. 18/2/2023 Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts, collectors and anyone else that is interested. As the title suggests, I going to be changing the battery on my 1986 Casio AQ-340 Ana-Digi or can be also known as a combi watch. This means the watch has a traditional handed display and also an LCD display. The LCD normally combines an alarm, stop watch, hourly chime and dual time. These watches were first released back in 1983-84ish and I've loved them ever since. I love them so much, I bought two models. As the watches are very old, they do have a lot of defects but this is to be expected due to their again. Remember these watches are 40 years old, so their condition is fair to say the least. I bought these watches around 5 years ago and they were very cheap but had parts missing. The prices of these watches are now starting to appreciate due to the rarity. I rarely wear them, therefore I do a check every now and again to see how the batteries ar...
Casio Watch F-91W Battery Change (Module 593) Hello fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the World. I hope you are all well. As the title suggests, I will be replacing the battery on my son's F-91W. He has had the watch from new and it is coming up to 6 years old. It's in excellent condition considering he has owned it since he was only 8 years old and worn it everyday since for school. The display is starting to fade, so it's high time I replaced the battery with a brand new one. The watch uses one CR2016 button cell, which cost me £3.50 (including delivery) for two cells and they are Duracell so a decent battery. I bought two as it's always handy to have new cells in hand if ever required. Now that batteries have been delivered, it's time to get started. I know I should have removed the strap but it simply wouldn't budge from it's position and I didn't want to damage the watch as it is only plastic. I therefore left the strap attached to the watch ...
