Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts from around the world. Let me also wish you a belated Happy New Year too. I hope you are all well. 

In 2023, I hope to have many projects to show you and I am always on the hunt for lesser known Casio gems. For me, this is an ongoing project to find many of the used watches that I always wanted growing up as a Casio fan. Many of the watches I am looking for, were far too expensive and out of my reach, and all I could do, was dream. I have, in the last couple of years, managed to purchase some watches I was after. However, the list is long and funds are few, and so the Casio watch hunt is always on. You may also be aware that the price of used and unique Casio watches has risen considerably. This is a good situation for some, and bad for others. 

Two further projects I need to complete are my AQ-321 and AQ-340. The AQ-321 (white dial), needs a new strap as a couple of the links are damaged. It also needs another deep clean and a new battery. 


The AQ-340 (black dial) has the same issues, needing a new strap, new battery and a deep clean. Both watches use the same battery (an AG-3 type cell), so I will order a pair.


 To replace the batteries in either watch requires the strap to be removed. Therefore, I will also deep clean the strap and watch whilst apart. I am also trying to find new straps for both watches, but it's hard work on the search front. As I have said many times, I love the Casio AQ-300 range and I am a true fan. The AQ watches are small, unassuming and very comfortable on the wrist. They also have a range of no fuss functions. As most vintage Casio watches have risen in price, these are no exception and I want them all.

Another small project I will be sharing with you is of the replacement battery in my  
DBC-611G fitted with the DBC-32 strap. I also need to replace the battery in my DBC-32, so please stay tuned.


I have no idea which battery either of these watches requires. I think a lot more research is in order. Or maybe I'll check the manuals.

So, that is my small plan for 2023 Casio fans.

Hello, my name is Mr.B. I have started this blog as I have owned and loved (and still do) Casio watches for more than 40 years. Casio AB-200 Databank Watch (Module 321) 18/6/22 Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts, collectors and welcome to my post. As the title suggests, this post will be about the Casio AB-200 Data Bank watch. You may be aware (if you have read my previous posts), I have been looking for a good example for a long time now but finally, I have one on it's way to me. Casio AB-500 Data Bank Watch (Module 386)

 Casio AB-500G Date Bank Watch (Module 386)  23/1/2024 Hello fellow Casio enthusiasts from around the world, I hope you are well. If you have read the post I wrote about watches that I am always searching for, you may know I have had the Casio AB-500 data bank on my want list for many years. There are some examples still around and for sale. However, they are normally very expensive and in very poor condition as you could image a 30 years plus Casio watch would be.  Therefore an AB-500 in excellent condition will command a price tag of around £500.   Is it worth that kind of money, well, it may be worth that to an avid collector and I have witnessed such purchases. Casio Watches I Would Love to Own Hello Casio owners and lovers from around the world. I hope you are all well. 12/4/2023 As the title suggest, this is a list of Casio watches I would love to add to my humble collection. Some are vintage watches, whilst some of them may be recent.
