Lazmin LED Lattice Clock Kit Build

Lazmin LED Lattice Clock Kit Build. 09/04/2023 Hello Casio watch enthusiasts around the World. I hope you are all well. In this post as the title suggests, I am going to be building an LED Lattice clock for my daughter as she loves lights and clocks. I know this has nothing to do with Casio watches, but it is a time piece and I thought some people may find it interesting as there is no information on the internet. It DOES NOT COME WITH ANY INSTRUCTIONS from the manufacturer. I did contact the seller but he replied, and I quote, "It's so simple, even a child could build it" and that was all the information I received. The advert did not say there would be no instructions supplied, I simply assumed there would be as will nearly everything. They also failed to advise that the LED's supplied in the kit are actually sub-miniature SMD (surface mount) components, which are absolutely miniscule in size. Working with normal size SMD components are difficult enough to hand sold...

Casio DBC-611G Battery Change (Module 3228).

Casio DBC-611G Battery Change  (Module 3228). Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts from around the world. I hope you are all well. As the title suggests, I will be replacing the battery in my DBC-611G. I have owned the watch a little over 2 years, and I am more than happy with it.  A couple of weeks ago, I changed the batteries in some of my other watches and noticed that this watches display was starting to dim. I panicked and immediately ordered a battery (£5) and received it quite quickly. I say panic (and I mean panic) as a leaking battery would have destroyed my watch. No if's, not but's, it will destroy a watch. I see way too many examples of vintage watches being destroyed by a leaking batteries. I have seen grown men cry because of their losses and I include myself. Believe me, it is much cheaper to take it to a jeweller and have the battery changed rather than crying over a dead watch that is now scrap.  As I have a small collection of watches, it has been ...

Casio GWM-5600-1AER DST Update (Module 3063)

Casio GWM-5600-1AER DST Update Hello fellow Casio lovers, owners and collectors from around the world. I hope you are all well! As some of you may be aware, some of the Countries in the World follow a DST change in time. In the UK, this will be one hour plus in Spring and back one hour in Autumn. DST stands for "daylight saving time" and has a history all of it's own. DST is mostly used in the northern hemisphere, but I am sure many Countries have their own version. Therefore at this time of year, watch owners around the globe need to manually adjust their watch accordingly. From the humble Casio watch up to the heights of Rolex or Audemars Piguet, they will all need adjustment. This can be a nightmare for the luxury watch owner, as when the crown wheel is pulled from the watch to adjust or wind, the stem can quite easily snap. That's why owners of such watches have mechanical winders and never let the watch stop. Therefore, twice a year the mechanical watch owner ri...

Casio Ana-Digi AQ-340 Battery Change (Module 309)

Casio Ana-Digi AQ-340 Battery Change. 18/2/2023 Hello fellow Casio watch enthusiasts, collectors and anyone else that is interested. As the title suggests, I going to be changing the battery on my 1986 Casio AQ-340 Ana-Digi or can be also known as a combi watch. This means the watch has a traditional handed display and also an LCD display. The LCD normally combines an alarm, stop watch, hourly chime and dual time. These watches were first released back in 1983-84ish and I've loved them ever since. I love them so much, I bought two models. As the watches are very old, they do have a lot of defects but this is to be expected due to their again. Remember these watches are 40 years old, so their condition is fair to say the least. I bought these watches around 5 years ago and they were very cheap but had parts missing. The prices of these watches are now starting to appreciate due to the rarity. I rarely wear them, therefore I do a check every now and again to see how the batteries ar...
